Prizes awarded for the best oral and poster presentations To promote the active participation of young researchers (under 35 years old) to the NuMat2010 conference, the organisation awarded prizes for the best young scientist oral and poster presentations. The award has been created to honour this highly respected materials scientist who was also one of the founding editors of the Journal of Nuclear Materials, the sponsor of the conference.
